The development will consist of the demolition of the existing two storey office building located adjacent to the site entrance, and the construction of an extension to the existing filling hall on the resultant cleared area. This extension shall extend eastwards from the existing filling hall and shall measure approximately 390m2 by 9.5 m high at its highest point. The extension shall be constructed with a curved roof which will extend over the existing carton store and be clad with an insulated standing seam roof in olive green to match the existing buildings. A two storey office block shall be constructed to the southeast corner of the cleared area consisting of changing rooms measuring 140m2 on the ground floor. The first floor area will measure 120m2 containing office space for staff. This building will measure one metre higher than the extended filling hall at its highest point and shall be constructed with a monopitch roof. The curved wall to the front southeast elevation shall be blockwork separated with window bays & louvers. A new IT room shall be constructed measuring 21m2 adjacent to the existing carton store. A Natura Impact Statement has been submitted with this application.
