Development Description:
a) Change of Use from public bar to 2 retail units and 1 cafe at ground floor level and 13 office suites at first floor level.
b) General conservation works to roofs, ceilings, walls, floors and joinery within the protected structure.
c) Demolition of front lobby to Bar and install new shopfronts to street frontage;
d) Demolition of 1970’s built single storey function room, lean-to pitched roof link and single storey extension to rear.
e) Demolition of 1980’s built slated lean-to roof to existing masonry boundary wall and 2No. galvanised steel sheeted lean-to roofs to existing masonry boundary wall adjacent to the Abbeyleix Courthouse (RPS 085).
f) Demolition of dividing stone wall at the rear of the Abbeyleix Courthouse boundary (RPS 085).
g) Blocking up of 4 windows in the existing masonry external wall and installation of 3 conservation rooflights above the circulation corridor at first floor;
h) Replacement of 11 existing timber casement windows and one bay window with traditional sliding sash windows;
i) Construction of an extension to rear to provide a part-licensed supermarket (940sqm. Gross floor area);
j) Construction of an under-arch access roadway with access control barrier and separate exit/delivery entrance with control barrier at Stucker Hill.
k) Construction of a glazed canopy alongside the access roadway.
l) Construction of a car park to the rear of the site with car parking for 69 cars and 6 no, bicycle stands. .
m) All associated services, drainage, landscaping and boundary treatments.

Laois.
