The total gross floor area of the development is 15,794 sq.m. The development will also include carparking, 3 no. public and service entrances, internal roads, landscaping and all associated site development works. An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) accompaines this application
modifications to a previously permitted retail warehouse development under Meath County Council Register Reference NA/40525. The modifications for which the permission is sought comprise of the reconfiguration, layout and reduction in size of anchor unit no 1 from 5,574 sq m gross floor area to 4,565 sq m gross floor area to include a mezzanine. The associated Garden Centre (910 sq m gross floor area previously permitted under NA/40525) has been increased to 1,105 sq m gross floor area. The modifications also include the reconfiguration and reduction of adjacent retail units no 2 and no 3 (929 sq m gross floor area each previously permitted under NA/40525) to be split into three separate units, unit no 2A, unit no 2B, and unit no 3. These modifications result in a total retail warehouse development of 15,917 square metres gross floor area and 979 square metres gross floor area garden centre (16,354 square metres gross floor area previously permitted under NA/60572) Further Information has been submitted showing that the increase in floor area is as a result of the discrepancy that arose in respect of the plans & particulars of NA60572 & the gross floor area as permitted under NA60572 totals to 7992 sq.m. The total increase in gross floor area within the application site boundaries is 8534 sq.m. thereby resulting an increase in the floor area within the application site boundaries of 542 sq.m.
