Development Description:
for development at McDonald’s Restaurant, Tullyvarraga, Shannon, Co. Clare, V14 PV48. The development will consist of proposed external and internal modifications/upgrade works including a partial demolition of existing corral/bin store area and associated works with new corral gates, doors, fence panels, larger freezer and chiller stores, and replacement of the internal access door to this reduced corral area, all to allow the provision of a dual ordering system and associated new menu and signage in the drive-thru lane including new height restrictor; upgrade elevational works to external windows, booths and doors; internal layout modifications including to the kitchen, dining area and store and all associated works to facilitate these modifications; new remote bin store area; reconfiguration of car park spaces to 29 no. total spaces to facilitate 2 no. new EV charging stations and 2 no. grill bays and associated relocation of signposts, and new bollards/flexi bollards; lighting; landscaping including surface finishes, line and road markings throughout the car park and site; and all associated site works necessary to facilitate the development
for free standing single story drive-thru restaurant with facility for sale of hot food for consumption off the premises, for signage and LPG storage tank with main two-way access-exit from the Link Rd to Smithstown Ind Est and ingress only via exis
for works to existing McDonalds Drive Thru Restaurant. The development will consist of: 1) Removal of existing roof light boxes, 2) Removal of existting roof light signs to be replaced with new roof signs, 3) Painting of existing roof tiles, 4) Alterations to existing wall elevations including cladding of existing drive thru booths, 5) Removal of existing drive thru signage and height restrictor and installation of new drive thru signage and height retrictor, 6) New tables, seating, railings and lighting on pavement to front of building. All with associated site works.
The development will consist of cladding over of existing roof with composite aluminium panels as per drawing including a small increase in ridge height with additional roof signage to North / Drive Thru elevation. Alterations to existing drive thru lane to create side by side ordering points, additional order point with canopy, 2 no 1 bay 3-sided internally illuminated menu signs to replace existing 2 bay internally illuminated menu sign and associated site works
