for: the construction of an infill housing development of 8 no. houses arranged in 2 no. terraced blocks, to form part of the existing “An Cheathrú Bhán” housing estate at Cullairbaun, Athenry, Co. Galway. The development will consist of: • terrace Block A comprising of 2 no. 2 bedroomed two storey houses and 2 no. 3 bedroomed two storey houses, • terrace Block B comprising of 3 no. 2 bedroomed two storey houses and 1 no. 3 bedroomed two storey house. The proposed development includes; • access onto the existing “An Cheathrú Bhán” estate road, to serve the proposed development, • removal of foundation of former water tank on site, • connection to public mains water infrastructure, connection to public sewer network and connection to surface water drainage within the estate, to serve the proposed development, • provision of communal open space areas, private open space, car parking, bicycle parking, footpaths, public lighting, soft & hard landscaping, revised boundary treatments, together with all associated site works & services

for revisions to access arrangements to housing development previously permitted under Pl. Ref. No.'s 06/3813 (as extended under Pl. Ref. No's 12/4 & 18/12) at Cullairbaun, Athenry. The development consists of : 1) Varying of Condition No. 20 of PI. Ref. No. 06/3813. The proposed revision seeks to retain the existing "Caislean Ri” housing estate entrance onto the R347 road. In addition it is proposed to construct a mini roundabout along the R347 road to the south of the existing Caislean Ri entrance, which will include facilitation of access to the permitted housing
development (west of the R347) originally granted under Pl. Ref. No. 06/3813 (as extended under Pl. Ref No's 12/4 & 18/12). The mini-roundabout will also facilitate continued north-south access along the R347 road, as well as providing continued access to and from the Ard Esker housing estate to the east. (2) Alterations to internal access roads, including provision of a cul de sac adjacent to Caislean Ri, whilst providing for pedestrian connectivity to the latter housing estate, together with associated site works.
