An Air Separation Unit compound to support the manufacturing process, and consisting of: 1.Gas separation equipment consisting of a condensing cold box 43.3m high by 5m wide by 4.2m long and ancillary cold boxes. 2. A bulk storage liquid tank sized 33.9m high by 20.5m diameter. 3. A single storey compressor building 6.5m high by 12.85m wide by 26.3m long. 4. Three cooling towers. 5. A single storey pump house 5.5m high and 10.1m wide by 7.9m long, and 6. Ancillary storage tanks, containers and other items of plant and equipment. The compound footprint is 3,601sq.m. and consists of an area previously used for a smaller Air Separation Unit plus an extension, located to the north Fab 10. The works also include electrical compound with a footprint of 1,492sq.m. with 2 large scale transformers and a single storey electrical metering building sized 3m high by 4m wide by 7.5m long. Other works include enclosing fencing 2.4m high surrounding both compounds, new access off the internal road to the electrical compound, works to existing services and a 7m high brown acoustic screen around the Air Separation Compound. A Natura Impact Statement accompanies this application, and will be available for inspection or purchase at the office of the Planning Authority. This application consists of a variation to a previously permitted development on an activity for which a licence under Part IV of an Environmental Protection Agency Act 1992 (as amended for the Protection of the Environment Act, 2003) is required and will be notified to the Environmental Protection Agency. The development consist of modification to an establishment within the meaning of the European Communities (Control of Major Hazards involving Dangerous Substances) Regulation 2006

(1) Modular Storage Unit. A Single storey storage unit, sized approximately 7 metres by 12 metres and 6 metre high, located in the Utilities Yard to the north of the existing Fab10 Support Building. (2) FAB10 Waste Tanks. The installation of 3no. new bunded waste storage tanks, 2no. sized approximately 2.5 metres in diameter and 16.5 metres high, located in the Utilities Yard to north of the existing Fab10 Support Building and 1no. sized approximately 3.7metres in diameter and 15 metres high located to the north of the Fab10 Utilities Yard. (3) Process Support Building Extension. The construction of a two-storey extension to the existing Process Support Building (PSB) sized approximately 20 metres by 11 metres and 14 metres high, located to the north east of the existing Fab 24 Process Support Building. (4) FAB24 and FAB14 Waste Tanks. The installation of 3no. additional waste tanks and associated access platforms and stairways, 1no. sized approximately 9 metres by 10 metres and 7 metres high, located in the Utilities Yard to the north of the existing FAB24 Manufacturing Building and 1no. sized approximately 3 metres high located to the south of existing FAB14 Process Building and 1 no. sized approximately 4.25 metres in diameter and 16 metres high, located to the south of existing FAB14 process Building.(5) Site Works. The proposed development includes linking pipe-bridges to the Fab10 and Fab14 support buildings, site development works, site utilities, site lighting, separation walls, road alterations, landscaping and all associated site works. This application consists of a variation to a previously permitted development for an activity for which a licence under Part IV of the Environmental Protection Agency Act 1992 (as amended by the Protection of the Environment Act, 2003) is required. A Natura Impact Statement ("NIS") accompanies this application for inspection or purchase at the office of the Planning Authority. additions, alterations and modification to existing/permitted industrial facilities. The proposed development comprises of the following: 1. An extension to plant and equipment associated with FAB 34 located on an existing/permitted concrete slab to the rear of FAB 34. The development also comprises a modification to the proposed Boiler and Chiller Building to facilitate this development reducing its enclosed area from 22,188 square metres to 19,208 square metres. 2. The proposed equipment comprises 9 no. holding and treatment tanks located in a sealed reinforced concrete bund sized 542 square metres approximately together with associated pumps, pipe bridges and equipment. The tanks vary in height from 5 metres to 9 metres approximately. 3. The permitted (ABP Ref. Pl. 09.304672-19 / KCC Reg. Ref. 1991) two storey Boiler and Chiller Building is reduced by 2,980 square metres approximately, including modifications to the existing elevations, relocated escape stairs and miscellaneous layout modifications. The height of the modified facility will match the existing building height at 24.5 metres. 4. The works also include modifications to site works, underground utilities, roof mounted equipment and site lighting and a louvred screen wall approximately 85 metres in length, as an extension to the existing 8.5-metre-high elevational screen located on top of the Boundary wall to the rear of the Boiler and Chiller Building. 5. Erection of 2 no. ground level, illuminated monument signs at the main east and west vehicular entrances to the site from the R148. Both signs are 1.5 metres high and 2.4 metres wide approximately. 6. Illumination (internally) of 1 no. replacement building sign to the south elevation of the IR6 Building. The sign is 1.4 metres high and 3.3 metres wide approximately and is mounted so that the top of the sign is approximately 0.5 metres below for the parapet level of IR6.
