development consisting of proposed works to Straffan Lodge (A Protected Structure) to include the following: 1) Demolition of existing non original single storey kitchen extension to west elevation of existing house and its replacement with a new single storey kitchen/Pantry/dining/bootroom/cloakroom extension over basement level storage connected to the existing house by means of a new double door in the west elevation of the ground floor dining room. 2) Demolition of existing non original 2 storey cottage located to the east side of the existing house opening off existing rear yard and its replacement with a new single storey cottage consisting of living/dining room, 2 bedrooms, one ensuite and a bathroom with a proposed screen pergola to the south of the new building. 3) Demolition of existing non original storage building to the west end of the original single storey stables and its replacement with a purpose built green house. 4) Retention of replacement on site waste water treatment system and polishing filter serving existing house and proposed replacement cottage. 5) Retention of existing timber clad plant room and service yard to east side of plant room and proposed store extension to south gable of plant room serving existing lodge. Works will include all landscaping in the vicinity of the proposed works, connections to existing services and site development works
for alterations and revisions to previously permitted development works PI Reg No. 22/738 at Straffan Lodge (A Protected Structure) to include the following: 1. Omission of proposed basement level to previously approved kitchen/dining extension to west side of existing house. Revised elevational treatment to new extension to include lime dash finish, natural slate roof and thermally broken steel windows/painted hardwood window/door joinery. 2. Provision of new symmetrical shape single storey extension to the east gable of the existing house replacing the previously permitted single storey guest cottage. The new extension comprises a glazed link and new double doors from the existing drawing room to a new Orangerie with 2 ensuite guest bedrooms behind and entrance to rear courtyard. The external finishes will match those of the extension proposed on the west side. 3. Works will include all landscaping in the vicinity of the proposed works including alterations, diversion and connections to all existing services and site development works
