The class of activity proposed is class 10 of the 4th Schedule of the Waste Management Act 1996 namely "the treatment of any waste on land with a consequential benefit for an agricultural activity or ecological system". This will be carried out by the importation and placement of construction and demolition wastes which would include soil, subsoil's, stone, bricks, tiles and other inert materials for land reclamation purposes as provided for under the waste management guidelines. Household wastes, municipal wastes and wastes other than construction and demolition wastes will be strictly prohibited from the site. The development will also consist of a realigned entrance and new access road, temporary office and toilet facilities waste reception and inspection area and all other ancillary site works
