APPLICATION TO REPLACE AS BELOW THE WORDING OF CONDITION NO.2 OF PLANNING PERMISSION 04/20 FOR NEW BUILDING TO EXPAND AND REPLACE THE EXISTING CERCHE FACILITY LOCATED ON CAMPUS, THE REWORDING WOULD READ AS FOLLOWS "THE CRECHE WILL BE FOR THE USE OF DUNDALK INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS & STAFF AND LOCAL COMMUNITY GROUPS WORKING IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE INSTITUTE ON A NOT FOR PROFIT BASIS
THE DEVELOPMENT WILL CONSIST OF THE CONVERSION OF PART OF THE EXISTING FACTORY INTO 712SQM OF OFFICES AND RESEARCH FACILITIES ON THE APPLICATION SITE OF 6.55 HECTARES. THE WORK CONSISTS OF MODIFYING THE INTERIOR AND STRIPPING OUT OF INTERNAL WALLS AND THE CLEANING DOWN OF EXISTING COLUMNS AND ROOF TRUSSES. THE EXTERNAL WORK INVOLVES THE REMOVAL OF THE LOADING BAYS BETWEEN GRID 1.A AND L.D AND 4NO. BRICK FACED BAYS ON THE EAST ELEVATION AND 2NO. BAYS ON THE SOUTH ELEVATION. ALL ARE TO BE REPLACED WITH NEW WINDOWS AND DOORS. THE EXISTING WALLS ARE TO BE CLEANED AND NEW CILLS ADDED.
