Development Description: Retention of amendment to planning permission no 13/22 for development at lands accessed by Cross Lane, fronting onto, but not accessed from, Bog Lane & fronting on to but with temporary access from Twenties Lane at Drogheda County Louth, comprising the construction of a new tow storey Department of Psychiatry for Our Lady of Lourdes hospital, to provide at ground floor level an acute psychiatric residential facility & psychiatry of old age residential facility totalling 46 bedrooms with ancillary accommodation, and at first floor level consulting room, office space, staff facilities & ancillary accommodation with rooftop plant, along with a new access road connecting to the existing Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital car park on Cross Lane & also providing access to future development on adjoining HSE lands to the east fronting onto Twenties Lane, alterations to the existing car park comprising relocation of barriers & security kiosk & reconfiguration of vehicular circulation, all resulting in a decrease from 488 no spaces to 486 no spaces, prevision of a temporary car park of 66 no spaces for the duration of the car park alterations work & provision of a permanent new car park providing 69 no spaces & provision of 30 no bicycle parking spaces, along with associated site works for all of the above. The amendment to be retained consist of the following: Internal re-planning a t first floor level resulting in an enlarged staff canteen at northern end of building with new north-facing glazed external wall & 15m² external staff terrace; 31m² extension of dining area with associated internal re-planning; installation of one additional AHU at roof level over ground floor alteration of profile & height of saw-tooth rooflight reconfiguration of department car park to facilitate vehicle barriers (no of spaces unchanged) reconfiguration of existing Hospital Car Park to permit staggering of car park entry points & to accommodate more spaces (resulting in an increase of 26 car parking spaces from 486 mp to 512 no) minor internal re-planning minor changes to fenestration; minor changes to associated site works including additional fencing & railings (maximum height 1.8m) within the proposed gardens
