Extension of Duration of Planning Permission Ref. No. 09/139 (09/520139) – for the demolition of an existing dwelling house and the extension of the forecourt area of an existing service station to include car parking, car wash facilities, landscaping and associated site development works
Permission for development to consist of new brick side extension to the existing south elevation (floor area 20 sq.m) containing a new staircase serving the first floor, change of use of existing ground floor staircase enclosure to storage (storage area 8 sq.m) and associated site development works.
Retention Permission for development will consists of the following: - postage kiosk unit, car valeting store( floor area 29.0sq.m. and 3.0m high), car wash store(floor area 2.5sq.m. and 2.2m high), advertising signage, revised location of staff car parking, carwash service control cabinets, secure gas storage cage, clothing collection bank, alterations to front elevation of neighbourhood shop and associated site development works.
The development will consist of: 1. Part demolition of existing commerical stores. 2. To GRANT Permission for the part change of use of existing first floor area from commercial storage to student accommodation (5no. bedrooms with communal kitchen/living and ancillary facilities), a new external access to first floor area and bicycle parking stands. 2. To REFUSE Permission for the part demolition of existing commercial stores and a single storey ground floor extension of 114sqm to an existing retail shop for use as a sit down deli, food preparation area & storage area.
