Permission for development of a security fence in compliance with ISPS security requirements around the perimeter of the port storage area near the former lighthouse. The development will consist of a fence to be fixed above the existing perimeter walls (which vary from approx 1.4m to 2.2m high) & the fence will extend to a maximum height of 3.2m overall & will consist of a galvanised palisade fence with vandal proof fixings & of approximately 380m length overall. The proposed fencing will include works along or at / near the perimeter boundary walls of the lighthouse, the lighthouse keepers cottage & water tower which are included on the Louth record of protected structures (ref LHS009-043, LHS009-044, LHS009-001 respectively)
Retention permission to retain alterations to the north east gable of an existing workshop / storage building on their site. The alteration is the installation of a 16m wide by 6m high opening fitted with 3 no. roller shutter doors & is within the curtilage of a site containing the water tower, lighthouse & the lighthouse keepers cottage, which are all included on the Louth Record of Protected Structures, Ref LHS009-001, LHS009-043 & LHS009-044 respectively
