Development Description: a new limestone rock quarry on a site of 26.2hectares (ha) in total. The quarry footprint and quarry access road will cover an area of 11.8 ha and the remaining 14.4 ha of the site will be used for the provision of: a site entrance with gates and access road (770 metres (m)), with stream crossing to gain access to the site from the R156; an internal haul road (590m), with gates and improvements to an existing land-drain crossing; a quarry surface-water settlement lagoon system (3988 square metres(sq.m.) with full retention separator and discharge weir; office and reception building (55sq.m); weighbridge (60 sq.m.); proprietary effluent treatment system and percolation area (171 sq.m); wheel wash (53 sq.m); erection of a garage building (442sq.m) containing : workshop, bunded fuel tanks, canteen, office, store-room, toilet and shower block facilities; ESB supply room and switch-house (35 sq. ); an overburden screening mound (2.3ha); a fixed processing plant for the production of limestone aggregates; an aggregate washing plant with closed circuit settlement lagoon system (3988sq.m); provisions for landscaping and landscaped earthen berms; site hardstand (0.9ha) including: parking for 10 trucks and 14 cars, with provisions for a new land drain crossing and improvements to an existing land drain crossing. Permission is also sought to fully restore the site to an agriculture and water amenity use, upon completion of the 20 year lifespan of the development
