The retention permission is sought for the following works:The security fencing on the facility boundaries and perimeters, such security fencing and the esteblished supplementary screening hedgerows, the internal road way accesss provisions as documented within this submission, all storm drainage interceptor systems operated at the development site, the single storey office structure, 7185m2 of external storage area within yard donated as No.1, the associated steel framed blue grey cladding structures within yard No.1, 4865m2 of storage area within yard No.2, all concrete paved areas on the site. Referencing proosed upgrades, permission is also sought for following works within the site: Extend yard no.2 with such enlargement proposal equating to an additional storage area of 1390m2, Alter, reinforce and install landscaping to the additional security fencing on the facility boundaries and perimiters, provide car parking whilst altering the existing public and internal roadway site entrance fencing, provide additional drainage to the altered public and internal road way entrance, upgrade the existing foul treatment system by extending the site boundaries and installing a proprietary wastewater treatmene system incorporating a raised polishing filter secondary treatment system

the Vehicle End of Life development operated under Waste Permit at Sra, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan. The development consists of an application to retain activities requiring integrated pollution prevention operated under Waste Permit. Retention permissions include the retention of the security fencing to the facility perimeter, the screening hedgerows and reinforcements installed to date, public and internal road way access provisions in operation, a single storey office structure, an enclosed storage structure, a racked portal frame structure, a de-pollutant structure, concrete paved/hardcore storage areas and the associated foul/storm drainage interceptor systems operated at the development site. Further information/significant additional date submission incorporates: 1) revised site boundaries and site area enlargements 2) proposals to alter and reinforce the security fencing on the revised facility boundaries and perimeters 3) retain and reinforce such security fencing revisions by supplementing screening hedgerows 4)retain and alter the public and internal road access provisions as documented within this further information/significant additional date submission 5) retain the single storey office structure 6) retain 7185m2 of external storage area within yard no. 1 7) retain the associated steel framed blue grey cladding structure within yard no.1 8) retain 4865m2 of storage area within yard no. 2 9) propose an extension of yard no. 2 with such enlargement proposal equating to an additional storage area of 1390m2 10) retain all concrete paved areas on the site 11) proposals to upgrade the existing foul treatment system by extending the site and installing a proprietary waste water treatment system incorporating a raised polishing filter secondary treatment system 12) retain all storm drainage interceptor systems operated at the development site whilst proposing additional drainage at the altered public and internal road way entrances
PERMISSION AND RETENTION PERMISSION for the development which relates a treatment facility for end of life vehicle recovery, a facility for the recovery of vehicles and the storage of scrap metals (operated under Waste Permit WFP-MN-10-0006-01) and a Trade Counter for the sale of second hand vehicle parts and consists of 1) Existing single storey building comprising trade counter, office, canteen and toilet facilities, existing used battery storage building, existing vehicle part storage building, existing depolluting shed, existing portacabin used as an office, existing external vehicle storage areas (Yard no.s 1 & 2), existing security gates located along public road currently affording access to the facility (to be used for single car access only), existing security fencing located along the boundaries and perimeter of the facility, existing clay mounds and screen landscaping and planting provided along sections of the perimeter of the facility, existing oil/petrol interceptors and storm drainage and disposal system and existing concrete hard surface areas and will consist of 2) Provision of new heavy goods vehicle entrance/exit to the facility from the Regional Road R180 and associated access road, closure of gates located along Local Road L71001 currently affording access for heavy goods vehicles to the facility, enclosure of the open side of existing de-polluting shed with roller shutter doors, construction of sound baffle wall and roof overhang along side of existing de-polluting shed, proposed reduction in external vehicle storage area (Yard No. 2) and provision of buffer zone between remaining external vehicle storage area Yard no. 2 and adjacent properties, reinforcement of existing screen landscaping and planting and provision of additional screen landscaping and planting along the perimeter of existing facility, provision of additional security perimeter fencing, relocation of existing entrance gates and a section of existing roadside boundary perimeter security fencing to facilitate the provision of 12 no. car parking spaces and roadside layby, provision of storm water drainage and collection system to proposed car park and along existing roadside entrance, decommission existing traditional type septic tank and replace with an O'Reilly Oakstown Wastewater Treatment System and associated Soil Polishing Filter together with all ancillary site development works.

The realignment of previously approved parking arrangements at existing vehicle dismantling facility together with all ancillary site development works
permission to develop designated area on site for the storage/stacking of de-polluted end of life vehicles and remove condition number 2 of An Bord Pleanala ref. no. PL18.242814 relating to an on-site storage area for end of life depolluted vehicles, install a mobile car baler and weighbridge, change of use of previously approved store to facilitate sorting/segregating parts for end of life vehicles, reduce the number of car-parking spaces previously approved on site, and use existing entrance onto public roadway, together with all ancillary site works.
