construct a single storey extension autistic unit to the north west of the existing St. Oliver Plunkett School in addition a single storey pre-school unit and associated external play area to be developed at the location of the existing prefab classroom to the south, which are to be removed. New bus and car drop off and parking facilities are to be provided to the east and north of the existing school building. The existing hard surfaced play area will be relocated to the west of the building. The autistic unit is to comprise of 2 no. classrooms, central activities space and associated ancillary space. The preschool unit is to comprise of a room for 20 no. children with associated ancillary spaces. There will be parking provision for 60 no. cars and 4 no. buses. A new 500mm high masonry front boundary wall is to be constructed with associated pillars and gates to access points. New vehicular site accesses are to be created onto the public road, one for access and one for egress of the site. New single storey toilet and shower facilities are to be provided to an existing classroom at the north of the school building. Furthermore work will be carried out within the existing school building to reorganise a classroom with the construction of a new corridor. A steel canopy is to be completed to the principal entrance of the existing school building
