Development Description:
Of amendments to the development as granted by Roscommon County Council Ref. 04/748 for the construction of a single storey respite centre for the Visually Impaired. The alterations consist of the increase of the North West wing plan dimension by 0.9 metre towards courtyard & an increase in the plan dimension of the South East wing resulting in an additional 3.3m2 of area, this resulted in an additional area of 30.1m2. It was noted that there was a discrepancy of an additional 29.3m2 between the granted planning drawings and the associated area schedule document which brought the total area of the building to 629.1m2. The garage layout has been altered to accommodate an ancillary use of a spa and plant room. The roof lights of the South East wing and the 3 roof lights of the North West wing have been omitted. Revisions have been made to the fenestration of the South West and South East elevations. Render finish has been used in lieu of natural timber on the North West elevation of the south east block. Render finish has been used in lieu of ramdom rubble on the South East elevation of the North West block. Natural slate roof & gravel flat roof has been used in lieu of zinc roofing and there is a gravel flat roof in lieu of grass roof at
