Development Description: removal of the existing permitted 20m timber support pole (PL06/941 & ABP ref no. 221052) and construction of a 24m support pole to carry 3 no. radio aerials (these are 3.1m in length and will extend above the height of the proposed support pole to a total height of 27m) for use by the Emergency Services (Garda, Ambulance & Fire Brigade) together with associated equipment, cabling, cabinet and a GPS timing antenna for a new National Digital Radio Service. The existing permitted 20m support pole will be removed and the exisitng Hutchison 3G Ireland Ltd. antennae and dishes will be relocated onto the proposed 24m support pole. The proposed support pole will also accomodate additional antennae and dishes to share with licensed communications operators at the ESB's Tobercurry 38kV substation
