a ten year permission for the construction, operation and decommissioning of a solar photovoltaic panel array to export electricity to the national grid. The proposed works will include a 19.10 MWp solar farm comprising photovoltaic panels on ground mounted frames, 10 no. inverter stations, 1 no. single storey substation, 5 no. field transformer, 1 no. single storey communications building, 1 no. single storey storage shed, 1 no. battery container, 1 no. transformer container, 1 no. WC, fencing, temporary construction compound, access track, CCTV and all associated ancillary development works
amend previously approved planning consent 16/600565 for a grant of a ten-year planning permission for a solar farm, the development will consist of an increase in the previously approved mega wattage output; amendments to the previously approved site layout including a reduced number of overall panel modules; additional and revised battery storage units; additional and revised designs for inverters and field transformers; the inclusion of switchgear substations; revisions to the panel elevations to include bi-facial panels; revisions to the panel dimensions to include an increased panel (and leg) max height of no more than 2.5m; revisions to the individual panel width and length; and a reduction in the spacing between the panel rows. Permission is also sought to extend the operational lifespan of the solar farm from 30 years to 35 years from commissioning to the grid
amend previously approved planning consents (Tipperary County Council Ref 16/600565 and 20/46) for a solar farm. The development will consist of a modification to the previously approved on-site substation to allow for a 38kV electrical substation configuration within the solar farm. In order to facilitate the construction of the 38kV substation design, the previously approved 3 no. battery storage units and approximately 240m of previously approved PV panel area will be replaced. The 38kV substation will include the construction of a control building, an ESB and IPP compound with associated infrastructure including a 38kV busbar, 38kV transformer, 38kV electrical equipment, lightning mast, and all associated ancillary infrastructure required for the project
