Permission for a Bus Garage with modifications to previously approved scheme (Planning Ref No. 842/00). The Development will consist of a Bus Maintenance/Service Building with Admisistrative offices & Storage in one single structure with the following on-site ancillary facilities: an open, screened bus gantry/chassis wash, overground diesel & lubrication oil storage, a water storage tank, 2 no. pump houses & 2 bicycle shelters. This proposal is an amendment to Bus Maintenance Facility permitted under planning Ref. No. 842/00 & includes consequential amendments to on-site bus & car parking. While the overall gross floor area of the Development has increased from 1270 sq.m. to 3682 sq.m. due to the necessary enlargement of the Maintenance/Service/Administrative/Storage element & the addition of the Ancillary facilities listed above, the overall capacity of the development in relation to bus movements has decreased due to the reduction of bus parking from 140 to 104 with a consequent reduction in traffic impact
