Development Description:
alteration and extension to dwelling units no.s 4 and 5 in existing building at "FHIST House". The works will include incorporating its existing balcony area into each dwelling unit, and provision of an additional roof window to unit no. 4, complete with all associated works
to demolish and remove the former Parochial Hall and to redevelop the site for sheltered housing. The proposed building will be two storey plus attic storey and will accommodate 11 number dwelling units (ten number bed sits and one number one bedroom apartment) toghether with ancillary accommodation including day room, kitchen, dining room, utility and office . Two of the bedsits will be on the attic storey. The development will also include a roof garden over carparking . The apartment and five number bedsits will have balconies .
To alter the proposed development at Morton Street, to which existing permission Ref. No. 05/7 applies. The proposed changes would include the following: Unit no. 7 on the first floor previously indicated as a one bedroom apartment would now become a bedsit , Unit no. 11 on the attic floor previously indicated as a bedsit would become a one bedroom unit, the building would no longer extend over the passageway to the west, the elevations of the building will change to take account of the alterations
to alter the front elevation of the sheltered housing which is under construction, the changes will include the following: omission of wide window to bedsit No. 1 and substitution with 2 no. narrower and taller windows, omission of wide window to dayroom and substitution with 2 No. narrower and taller windows, raising the head height of openings from 2.1m to 2.3m (existing planning ref. No. 06/32 and 05/7)
to retain and complete alterations to the front elevation of the sheltered housing, which is under the construction (existing permissions reference nos. 06/32 and 05/7)the changes will include the following: Ground floor - Omission of wide window to bedsit No. 1 and substitution with 2 no. narrower and taller windows, widening and increasing the height of both windows to Bedsite No. 2, Omission of wide window to Bedsit No. 3 and substitution with 2 no. narrower and taller windows , omission of wide window to dayroom and substitution with 2 no. narrower and taller windows, raising of head height of remaining window openings from 2.1m to 2.3m, First Floor: Raising head and cill heights of windows to Bedsist No. 6 and to balcony over exit door
