a ten-year appropriate period planning permission for development of this site: the proposed development will constitute the provision of the following: the installation of 2.25 km of 38kV underground grid connection comprising cable ducting and associated electrical cabling and all other ancillary works including joint bays, culverts, maker posts and all associated developments. Advisory Note: The full extent of the grid connection is 33.8 km, and a separate planning application will be made for a underground grid connection to Kilkenny County Council. This development comprises part of an overall development for which planning permission was granted for a 9 turbine wind farm and all associated works on lands located in the townlands of Farranrory Upper, Farranrory Lower, Coolnashinnagh and Gortnasmuttaun, Co. Tipperary. The planning application will be accompanied by an Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) and Natura Impact Statement

an amendment to the planning application previously granted permission under planning reference 20/972. The previously consented planning application included the construction of 9 turbines with maximum overall ground to blade tip height of up to 150 metres, associated foundations and hardstand areas; new site entrances, upgrade of existing site entrances; new on-site 38KV substation and all ancillary site works. The proposed amendments to the previously consented application comprise: (1) Increase the tip height of the turbines from 150 to 156.5 metres and increase the rotor diameter from 133 to 136 metres (3) Reconfiguration of a number of the consented hardstand layouts and associated changes to internal access roads (4)
Minor Adjustments to the red line boundary (5) Provision of LiDAR (This application is accompanied by a NIS)
a) an increase to the footprint of the substation compound of 381.6m2, b) an increase to the footprint of the substation building of 51.5m2, c) amendments to the layout of the offices and welfare facilities within the substation building, d) addition of 2 no. containers sized 6m by 2.43m by 2.59m in height for storage of parts and equipment during the operational phase, e) addition of 2 no. parking spaces and an extension of the access road, f) associated relocation of the permitted fence, g) amendments to the drainage design to accommodate changes to the layout, h) minor amendments to the red line of the permitted development to accommodate the above and i) addition of new joint bay
