The entirety of the development constitutes the provision of a 9-turbine wind farm and all associated works on lands in both Counties Tipperary and Kilkenny. This development comprises part of an overall development for which planning permission is also sought for a 38kV substation in the townland of Killeen, Co. Kilkenny. A separate planning application will be made for an underground grid connection to Tipperary County Council and to Kilkenny County Council. The proposed development will constitute the provision of the following: • Construction of up to 9 turbines each with a maximum overall ground to blade tip height of up to 150 metres and associated foundations and hardstand areas;
• Construction of new site entrances and upgrade of existing site entrances;
• Internal wind farm underground power and communications cabling;
• Upgrade of existing access tracks and provision of new site access roads;
• Removal of existing Meteorological Masts and construction of 1 new Meteorological Mast for monitoring wind speeds with a maximum height of up to 85 metres;
